Collaboratively designed and built a 1000-person capacity pop-up event space on top of a multi-story car park in the heart of Brixton. This was for use in both summer and winter. Summertime it became Brixton Beach; a Miami-themed beach party haven. For winter a complete transformation took place to the North Pole Saloon, an alpine forest refuge. • 400 tonnes of play sand imported

NORTH POLE SALOON

• 300sqm log cabin with roof

• 40x 20m stretch tent covered the street food vendors

• Wooden cabins built for street food service outlets

• 12 custom-made VIP alpine lodges, decorated in individual themes for private bookings

• North Pole Saloon Nightclub and performance space

Sustainability:

• The ethos from the BR team was always ‘re-use re-use re-use!’ so each changeover so much of the materials used for the prior season build was de-constructed, processed and stacked on the rooftop.

• Our team of carpenters then began the onerous task or re-building a completely new design using the same materials! Obviously, we had some residual waste but that was removed and recycled by our good friends at Zero Waste.
