Collaborating with our long-term clients, ID Agency for Pepsi, we present the Rockstar Sound Tower—a series of exclusive installations delivering a VIP viewing experience for Rockstar guests at premier festivals. After a successful debut at Parklife, the project is now set to enhance the TRNSMT Festival (Glasgow) and Wireless Festival (London) on the same weekend.

Production:

We transformed the visionary design concept into two impressive installations. Each VIP area on the front-of-house sound tower's top floor guarantees Rockstar's esteemed guests and clients prime views and exceptional comfort. Our team managed every aspect, from project management and construction to logistics, coordinating two separate teams in Glasgow and London simultaneously.

Key features include:

• Custom-fitted elements for unique scaffold towers over 40sqm each.

• Wooden pre-built flats cladding the walls, ready for designed elements.

• RAL color-specific corrugated metal panels.

• Bespoke Rockstar product cabinet.

• Custom merchandise wall with precision-cut metal railings.

• Exclusive neon signs.

• Custom front and back bars for guest service.

• Enhanced with a well-orchestrated lighting design and client-supplied artwork turned into posters, these installations bring the VIP festival vibe to life.

Challenges Overcome:

• Completed both site builds within two weeks of the revised brief.

• Managed installations in two cities on the same weekend, requiring meticulous planning and coordination.

• It was built on four-story front-of-house scaffolding towers, using innovative solutions with pre-assembled and flat-packed elements for easy on-site assembly.

• Crew Coordination: Briefed and synchronised two new teams to ensure seamless execution.

Sustainability:

Although everything was built from scratch for this project due to the scope change, we are committed to sustainability. For upcoming shows over the August bank holiday weekend, we will collaborate with the client to reuse these assets. Post-project, discussions are underway on whether to store or recycle these assets for future use.
